What material are used to make the models
?
The majority of our models are beautiful,
handmade authentic replicas and made from the very finest grade
of select kiln dried Mahogany wood. Our models are made entirely
by hand, from the hand carving of the fuselage, wings and tail section;
to the sanding of the aircraft's contours. Every part is assembled
precisely into place using the highest quality adhesive available.
After shaping and sanding, the model passes
through several stages of priming and sanding before it is hand
painted to duplicate the actual paint scheme and markings of the
real aircraft. Other materials may be used where wood cannot
provide the structural integrity required or where the details are
not obtainable in wood.
Some models are made of high quality resin and are painted with
polyurethane paints which provide a high gloss, durable finish.
After decaling they are clear coated for a lustrous finish. The
models are shipped fully assembled and mount easily to an attractive
walnut base and tapered aluminum upright or a wooden base.. In some
cases the models are made of molded plastic , but you will always
be made aware of the type of material your model is made of.

Can I personalize the models ?
In certain cases and for an additional price you can personalize your model in a variety of
ways. You can specify the aircraft registration number, put a Captain's
name under the cockpit window, or engrave a special recognition
message on a brass plaque that mounts on the walnut base.
We'll be glad to work with you to give your model that "special
touch."

Do the models have a wooden base ?
Yes, the models rest on a base made of wood. In some cases the
base is wood but the arm holding the model is metal. You will always
see a picture of the model before purchasing it.

How long will it take to receive my model
?
Custom made models take 14 to 16 weeks to deliver.However, due to factors which are beyond our control sometimes models take longer to produce. If the model is
a stock item it will take about 5 to 7 business days to deliver.
This is for addresses in the Continental US only ( see shipping
for other choices)

What is the sales and return policy ?
We hope that you are 100% satisfied with everything you purchase
from us, and will fully refund models that are stock items shipped with 5 to 7 business days. However due the custom nature and hand painting of wood models that take over 4 months to produce, these items are non-refundable. Occasionaly delivery times may exceed those shown on our site, due to factors beyond our control. In these cases cancellation and money refunded will occur 30 days after scheduled delivery times. Shipping and handling charges are not
refundable unless due to an error by us. Returns must be made in
original condition and in the item's original packaging, and appropriately
insured. Include all contents, with any paperwork that may have accompanied your
shipment. So that we can supervise proper handling of exchanges or credits.
We must be aware of the return before it is sent back. PLEASE NOTE: Custom orders must be cancelled within 48 hours. After that all custom orders are non- refundable.

SPECIAL NOTE ON GOODS DAMAGED IN SHIPMENT:
Be sure to inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives! If the
product has been damaged during shipment, you must contact us immediately
(within 24 hrs), as the shipper has only a limited time to make
a claim with the Delivery Company.

What are the Shipping Charges ?
This is an excellent question , because shipping is absolutely
FREE (for standard UPS ground to the Continental US) . If you choose any other option
there will be additional charges as listed below. Orders shipped
via UPS or FEDEX Ground service should arrive within 5 to 7 business days. If you have a question please call us.

These rates are for the first model ordered. Slightly higher shipping
rates apply when two or more models are ordered/shipped at the same
